Historical: Oscar-winning director Bong Joon-ho is set to direct the most expensive Korean film to date with an expected cost of 70 billion won (~$52,496,227).
The movie will be animated and distributed by Sony Pictures, the team behind Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
Bong Joon-ho's project, Mickey 17, has been indefinitely delayed, leading to his return to work on this animated project
