Unknown: A survey by the Asian American Foundation found that the majority of Americans cannot name a famous Asian American.

  • 52% of respondents couldn't name any famous Asian American, with 9% mentioning actor Jackie Chan (who is not American).

  • The survey was sent to 6,200 people in the U.S. aged 16+ on their attitudes toward the Asian American community.
