History: Hayao Miyazaki earned his first Golden Globe Award for his film ‘The Boy and the Heron’ in the Best Motion Picture- Animated category.

• The win is also the first for Studio Ghibli and the first for an animated feature that wasn’t made in the English language.

• ‘The Boy and the Heron’ is supposedly the final movie from Miyazaki, who won an Oscar in 2001 for his film ‘Spirited Away’.

Feel Good: The Pokémon Company and Dwarf Animation Studios released a stop-motion show on Netflix called ‘Pokemon Concierge’ that has warmed the hearts of viewers worldwide.

• The show follows Haru (played by Karen Fukuhara), who signs up to be a Pokemon concierge at a resort after a quarter-life crisis.

• Pokemon fans marveled at the colors and textures in the character design of the four episode series that lasts 80 minutes.
