SB 420: The Georgia Governor has signed a bill called SB 420 that restricts land purchases by Chinese citizens.
SB 420 prohibits bans any “agent” of China from buying farmland in Georgia or any commercial land near military installations.
Critics said the measure reflected xenophobia and would harm immigrant communities.
